The motorhome came with a couch and rickety table and two easy chairs. With as many kids as we have, that wasn't going to work. Eric ripped it all out in order to put in a dinette and a couch. Once he started removing things, it was apparent there originally was a dinette.
The new dinette was probably massively overbuilt, but was definitely sturdy enough for kids to jump all over it.
I ordered new cushions from FoamByMail.com. They came in this relatively tiny box. Once opened, it was all the cushions for the dinette and couch, all compressed.
As I am writing this 6 years later, I can safely say that the couch never got finished. Originally, because we couldn't figure out a good design for it to open to a bed. Then lack of time. Then, we just really enjoyed the extra floor space.
